We began our journey looking to help more Australians unlock their property potential through house, land, and medium density properties. RPM has since grown to become the industry-leader with an expanding national presence; offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to maximise your property journey.

Our history
We have grown year on year and 2022 has been a landmark year for RPM. Not only did we take our first steps at a national expansion with the opening of our Brisbane office, we also responded to the greater demand for our strategic guidance beyond traditional property.

Our philosophy is simple; to make it easier for all Australians to achieve their financial goals through multiple avenues. Whether this is through land, property, or investment - our unique research-driven approach ensures our clients are guided by the most current, real-time data.

This is the latest chapter of our evolution; marking a point where our offerings are significantly more comprehensive than our origins in traditional property. We will continue to raise expectations, and challenge the norms to uncover innovative, data-driven solutions.
Our team of property specialists steadily grew to over 100. With this expansion came a relocation to a new custom-designed workplace on York Street, South Melbourne.

The space was designed to ensure our teams achieved the highest level of service and results from our clients.
A rapidly evolving market meant there was now a significant opportunity to leverage the international sales arena - leading to the creation of our International division.

This division offers deep market knowledge, expertise, and guidance to help international and local investors grow their property portfolio.
The launch of our Project Marketing division saw us upgrade to a South Melbourne office. Our newest division initially focused on supporting the planning, sales, and marketing within our Communities, but has since expanded to include dedicated Metro and Medium Density departments.
We expanded to offer a dedicated in-house Research, Data & Insights division to address the market's growing appetite for innovation.

From our St Kilda office, our newest division offered data, analysis, and insights on how to achieve greater density on estates and simplifying market complexities.

When we first established RPM in Doncaster, we disrupted a traditional industry with a new, data-driven approach to marketing residential subdivisions.

Our first division - Transactions & Advisory - was created to source acquisition opportunities for our developer clients.

Peter has over 40 years of board experience in both the UK and Australia. He has previously held senior positions across several national and international companies, including Fosters’ Brewing Group, Corecon, Ferrier Hodgson, Betworks, BRB Group and Locomotion Australia Pty Ltd.

His extensive board and business experience gives him a unique perspective to best enhance RPM Group’s value proposition and overall profitability.

Gary has over 25 years of executive experience across diverse sectors including property, FMCG, healthcare, and private equity. His experience spans both ASX listed and large private businesses, including Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, and Sigma Healthcare in the capacity of Managing Director, COO and CEO.

Gary has a strong reputation for building and executing long-term strategy to improve customer and user experience.

Peter has played an integral part in the growth and success of RPM for over 15 years. He was key in establishing our Project Marketing, Portfolio, and Property Management divisions. Peter and his team are closely involved in the design of masterplanned estates, product mix and pricing, and strategic marketing for the lifespan for each project.

Eric’s vision, based on integrity and commitment, has established RPM’s values.

Eric started in real estate in 1969 and opened his own agency, Nicholas Lauder, six years later. Over the next 24 years, Eric built his agency to be recognised as the leader in marketing residential land estates in the northeast region. In 1994, Eric established RPM to service the industry by marketing residential land. Decades on, RPM has grown to become an industry leader backed by an unwavering reputation.
